This practice is especially important for <span class=\"notion-enable-hover\" style=\"font-weight: 600;\" data-token-index=\"2\">beginners<\/span> as they can focus on developing the correct preparation and hitting action. We would recommend <span class=\"notion-enable-hover\" style=\"font-weight: 600;\" data-token-index=\"4\">taking your time<\/span> in between each smash, as having time to assess the smash and provide yourself with intrinsic feedback is crucial to the development of the technique.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8c2ae93 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8c2ae93\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Practice 2:<\/strong> This is a <strong>2-shot combination<\/strong>, and you can do a variety of combinations.<\/p><ul><li><strong>Option 1<\/strong> is to hit a shot, such as drop shot on one side of the court and then your partner lifts to the other side and you smash. This helps you practice the movement <strong>into<\/strong> the smash.<\/li><li><strong>Option 2<\/strong> is to hit the smash, and then your partner hits it back to the mid-court and you either drive or push the shuttle. This helps you practice the movement <strong>after<\/strong> the smash.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-48843e0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"48843e0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 600;\" data-token-index=\"0\">Practice 3: <\/span><span data-token-index=\"0\">This is an o<\/span>pen practice where you are doing something like rear-mid which incorporates the smash.
