notionvc: 0d00091f-31ba-4f2e-823d-878982a08812 --><\/p><ul><li>We\u2019re not robots so some shuttles would have been hit <strong>slightly differently!<\/strong> We did however <strong>not mishit many shuttles,<\/strong> which is important to note.<\/li><li>We obviously didn\u2019t test ALL of the shuttles you can buy worldwide, but we tried to choose a selection from different well-known brands that we could get at different price points here in the UK, <strong>and they\u2019re all speed 78.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-33ff12b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"33ff12b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\">So, we started our testing with a <span class=\"notion-enable-hover\" style=\"font-weight: 600;\" data-token-index=\"1\">\u00a35 ($6) tube from Drafon. <\/span>But this tube was kind of a joke.<!-- notionvc: 7bbb7bd4-9f5e-4beb-bc75-2b5487834b41 --><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8250606 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8250606\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\">We actually bought them from a supermarket in Kuala Lumpur, as we couldn\u2019t believe a tube of feather shuttles was so cheap. This makes it feel really different to how a brand new one would, which can be difficult to deal with!<\/span><!-- notionvc: 03b6222c-bfbc-4d7e-b3b0-cd524d81e151 -->\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/blockquote>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-221f374 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" class=\"p1\">Overall, we found that the <span class=\"notion-enable-hover\" style=\"font-weight: 600;\" data-token-index=\"1\">more expensive ones were half as fluffy at the end<\/span> and the two shots?<\/b><\/h5>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4c54bc0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4c54bc0\" hit <span class=\"notion-enable-hover\" style=\"font-weight: 600;\" data-token-index=\"1\">20 lifts, 20 net shots, 20 serves and 20 smashes <\/span>with each shuttle.<!-- notionvc: 620ba2a8-a042-43bf-ae37-4761236300ec --><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d74f98d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d74f98d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\">Generally we noticed that the shuttles at the cheaper end bobbled more (i.e. had a less \u2018smooth\u2019 flight path) and we felt like we had <span class=\"notion-enable-hover\" style=\"font-weight: 600;\" data-token-index=\"1\">less control<\/span>, especially with our net shots and serves.<!-- notionvc: 113a874e-1955-4fd6-908b-6c1e4bed68ab --><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-35811a4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"35811a4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\">With the more expensive shuttles like the Master Ace and AS50\u2019s, we both felt we could play <span class=\"notion-enable-hover\" style=\"font-weight: 600;\" data-token-index=\"1\">higher quality<\/span> and more <span class=\"notion-enable-hover\" style=\"font-weight: 600;\" data-token-index=\"3\">consistent<\/span> shots.<!-- notionvc: d85bfaaa-e423-4a40-884a-46c5729a9ba6 --><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a0c57d6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a0c57d6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\"><span>What We Use<\/span><!-- notionvc: b8ec5856-cc83-4f42-b4a2-29daa7da07b2 --><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e1fb2cf elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e1fb2cf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\">For our own training, we use the <span class=\"notion-enable-hover\" style=\"font-weight: 600;\" data-token-index=\"1\">VICTOR Master Ace!<\/span> Full disclosure we are sponsored by VICTOR but we\u2019ve personally found that these last <span class=\"notion-enable-hover\" style=\"font-weight: 600;\" data-token-index=\"3\">over 3 times as long<\/span> as various cheaper ones, and of course aren\u2019t 3 times the price!<!-- notionvc: class=\"p1\">It\u2019s also worth mentioning that if you can, it\u2019s better to <span class=\"notion-enable-hover\" style=\"font-weight: 600;\" data-token-index=\"1\">practice with shuttles that you compete with<\/span> to get used to the feel of the shuttle. A lot of international tournaments use the Master Ace so this works well for us!<!-- notionvc: d4a655ed-7331-4ba7-bb8b-bb4f974d544e --><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d04b312 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d04b312\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\">But if you can choose what shuttles to play your matches with, then we\u2019d recommend trying these tests yourself. Maybe try a more expensive tube and see how much longer it lasts for you\u2026 because as we\u2019ve said, the durability depends on your <span class=\"notion-enable-hover\" style=\"font-weight: 600;\" data-token-index=\"1\">level and playing style<\/span>! <span class=\"notion-enable-hover\" style=\"font-weight: 600;\" data-token-index=\"3\">If the shuttle lasts double as long but isn\u2019t
