Instead, you will need to <strong>create more power with your arm and shoulder,<\/strong> especially your elbow and back of the shoulder to hit the shuttle to the back.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li>No matter where you strike the shuttle, it\u2019s important to <strong>not<\/strong> have your arm <strong>too straight OR too bent<\/strong> (which are two common mistakes we see).<ul><li>If you have your arm too straight then you\u2019re only using your shoulder to generate power, not your forearm and wrist. And if you have it too bent then you are limiting your rotation which reduces your power!
